Last Sunday, we had lunch with a few friends after church. The boys weren't too bad, but Shey refused to sit in his seat. Instead he wondered around the blessedly open area near our table. I could tell he was getting tired and cranky though as we were finishing up and he ended the lunch in my lap. I was playing around with him, and holding him longways, like a baby. He smiled at me with those sleepy eyes and reached up to pat my face. Oh, my little baby doll, you are growing up too, too fast.

God, you can just see the orneriness in his eyes. He is adorable :)
Oh I love those moments - tiny gestures from growing babies. I have to remind myself to slow down and savor them.
They grow up way too fast. It makes me sad sometimes when I look at the big hulks my babies turned into.
