Not much time to post lately, but I saw this article and thought it was interesting. I know that sometimes with my children I do take the "easy" way out, but I genuinely try not to keep them in a bubble so that they can experience life and the way the world truly is. This article, How to Raise People You Like hits the nail right on the head. She says at the end, "I am not raising children. I am raising people that one day I would enjoy having dinner with."
I agree.

I love this part - "that one day I would like to have dinner with." Because I don't really want to have it with them now, so one day, maybe I will. Maybe.
